A brief look at our SeaSonic M12II modular power supply, S12II power supply & Corsair TX850 power supply. Many common branded PSUs are not made by the company that sells them. Most companies that sell PSUs do not actually make them! SeaSonic manufactures their own power supplies, as well as for many other companies. Many of the Corsair models we've used are actually manufactured by SeaSonic. SeaSonic is the #1 power supply company in the world! |

In this video we took apart an ASUS Eee PC 1215T NetBook and replaced the 320GB hard drive with an OCZ Vertex II 60GB Solid State Hard Drive SSD. Installation was simple enough, but actually getting to the hard drive in this NetBook was difficult as there is not a cover underneath like there is for the RAM. In the end it was worth it! It is a bit of an understatement to say the performance improved. Most notably the boot time was much, much faster. Even browsing the internet was quicker and of course applications loaded much faster. These NetBooks do not have an optical drive, so getting the operating system installed was accomplished via a USB flash drive. Check out our articles section to see how to set up a USB flash drive to install Windows 7. |

Adding more memory to your computer is one of the best investments in improving overall system performance. Adding computer memory or upgrading computer memory is one of the easiest computer upgrades you can do. Don't worry, adding or replacing system memory will not void your warranty! What is Computer Memory (RAM)? Random Access Memory (RAM) provides space for your computer to read and write data to be accessed by the CPU (central processing unit). When people refer to a computer's memory, they usually mean its RAM. If you add more RAM to your computer, you reduce the number of times your CPU must read data from your hard disk. This usually allows your computer to work considerably faster, as RAM is many times faster than a hard disk. Next to the CPU itself, RAM is the most important factor in computer performance. If your system responds slowly or accesses the hard drive constantly, then you might need to add more RAM. |
